About EPYC

A place for local youth to belong, explore and grow.

Our history

EPYC began as a community committee in November 2019 and incorporated as a nonprofit in December 2020.

Estevan Public Youth Centre is a youth-focused nonprofit providing a free, welcoming space for young people in Estevan and surrounding communities. Our regular drop-in program welcomes youth in Grades 7–12.

Through recreation, creative activities and opportunities to learn, young people build friendships, discover their interests and connect with supportive adults.

Our vision

To be the place in our community where youth explore their passion, purpose, and potential.

Our mission

To connect, engage, and empower youth.

Our values

Inclusive

A safe place to be yourself.

Connected

To yourself, others, and your community.

Creative

Open to change, growth, and opportunity.

Fun

Sharing new experiences.

Rooted in community

Donors, volunteers and community partners help sustain a welcoming place for youth today and create opportunities for tomorrow.

Looking forward

Our growth priorities include after-school opportunities, additional staffing and a more functional centre. These are development priorities that depend on funding. Check our current updates for confirmed activities.
